Dr Rob Schuster Bruce – Retirement Announcement
Effective 01 October 2026

Dear Patients, I would like to let you all know that after 35 years of clinical practice and Senior Partner at Westbourne Medical Centre, I have decided that the time has come for me to retire.

I have been very lucky with my career at Westbourne Medical Centre and been fortunate to work alongside many outstanding colleagues and have had the privilege of caring for some truly remarkable patients. It has been both an honour and a humbling experience to have shared your various journeys.

Throughout my career, I have been proud to be associated with a Practice that has consistently embraced innovation, excellence, and high-quality patient care. The relationships I have built and the experiences I have shared will remain among the most rewarding aspects of my professional life.

I know that many of you may wonder what my retirement means for your ongoing care. I would like to reassure you that Westbourne Medical Centre remains in excellent hands and has planned for a smooth handover of my work streams.

I am delighted to introduce Dr Sapna Pandya, who will be taking over the care of my patients.

Our administration team in due course will contact my patients with details regarding the change of your GP.

Thank you all for your support, trust, friendship, and kindness over the years. It has been a privilege to work with this community, and I will always look back on my time at Westbourne Medical Centre with great affection and appreciation.

With Best Wishes,
Dr Robert Schuster Bruce
